The MCU has many upcoming projects planned for the next few years. Some are confirmed and in development, while others, like Thor 5 and Midnight Sons, are still just rumors. One of the most popular MCU franchises is the Black Panther series, which has released two films and introduced some of the most beloved characters.

Wakanda will play a big role in the Multiversal Saga, with several projects in development, including Ryan Coogler’s Wakanda-based TV series, an untitled Okoye series, and the animated show Eyes of Wakanda, set for release in 2025.

Black Panther 3 was rumored to be in development for several months now, and now Denzel Washington has dropped a bombshell on us. According to the actor Ryan Coogler is currently writing a role for him in the upcoming Black Panther flick.

‘Gladiator 2’ star revealed as much in his latest interview with Today, listing all his upcoming roles:

I played Othello at 22, I’m now going to play it at 70. After that, I’m playing Hannibal. After that, I’ve been talking with Steve McQueen about a film. After that Ryan Coogler is writing a part for me in the next Black Panther.

There you have it. Both the confirmation that Black Panther 3 is in development and that Denzel is going to be in it.

It’s interesting because Denzel Washington was recently rumored to appear in ‘Doctor Strange 3’ in the role of Dormammu, a notable Strange’s villain who was heavily rumored to resurface in the MCU following the appearance of his niece, Clea.
