Disney Reduces ‘Snow White’ Hollywood Premiere Festivities Amid Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot Controversies

Disney’s upcoming Snow White movie starring Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot is set to premiere on March 21, 2025. The Marc Webb-directed movie has been a controversy fest since the beginning, with Rachel Zegler being in the center of most of the controversies, both because of her casting and her behavior.
Still, Disney is planning a special premiere event on March 15, 2025, but while the event will be held, it will be significantly reduced in size and very different from Disney’s usual premieres; this news comes after Disney recently canceled the UK premiere event for the movie.
It has been confirmed that there will be a pre-party and screening at the El Capitan Theatre; both Zegler and Gadot are expected to attend, but this has not been officially confirmed. But, despite that, the red carpet event will be much smaller, as the media outlets invited to the premiere won’t be there; instead, coverage will be limited to photographers and a house crew.
The House of the Mouse refused to comment on this officially, but with all the recent controversies, as well as Zegler’s comments addressed against Gal Gadot, it is not difficult to conclude why the event has been canceled and why Disney is opting for a cautious approach.
The movie is premiering soon and we will see how all of the controversies will affect the movie’s box office performance. Until then, we can only wait!
