Does Ryan Reynolds’ Latest Comment Hint at Blake Lively Being Lady Deadpool?

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is only a few days away, and fans cannot be more excited to see a movie that is according to all word of mouth “the best thing to happen to the MCU” in a long time. One of the greatest strengths of the movie is the fact that it’s going to include cameos and references to numerous non-MCU characters, including Deadpool variants.

One of the most popular Deadpool variants teased in the movie was Lady Deadpool, and ever since she was confirmed to be in the movie fans have been speculating on who might play her.

For a long time, the strongest rumors pointed in the direction of Taylor Swift being Lady Deadpool, but unfortunately, it was confirmed several weeks back that she isn’t in the movie at all. Now the second most likely guess was Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds’ better half, the actress herself.

The theory only grew stronger when a few days ago, a full shot of Lady Deadpool was released in the trailer, sporting a blonde ponytail. Now fans have turned toward Reyndols’ recent comments and photos to look for subtle signs that Lively will appear in the movie. One of Reyndols’ most recent comments during the interview seems to hint that she will in fact make a brief cameo.

Reynolds pointed out that he would love to work with Lively, but can’t afford her fee. Fortunately, the fee would be as high if it was just a brief cameo right?

I’d love to work with Blake, I’d love that. I can’t afford her fee but I would love that.

Then there’s also a BTS image posted by Ryan Reynolds that shows Lively wearing red clothes and kissing fully costumed Reynolds.
