Don’t Miss This Viral AI Art of Elliot Page as The Flash!

In 1940, Gardner Fox and Henry Lampert introduced a comic book superhero named The Flash. Over the years, various characters have taken on the mantle of the Crimson Speedster, with Barry Allen being the most iconic.

Each version of the character has contributed unique elements to his lore and possessed distinct powers that set them apart from other Flashes.

Barry Allen appeared in the DCEU, portrayed by Ezra Miller. While Miller’s performance as The Flash was generally well-received, his off-screen controversies, along with a lackluster standalone film, ultimately led to his dismissal from the DCU. Prompting James Gunn to seek a new Flash.

Although it’s unclear who Gunn has in mind for the role, many fans believe Elliot Page would be an excellent choice. In light of this speculation, a series of stunning AI-generated images featuring Page as Barry Allen in costume have gone viral.

The images in question were shared by The Mother of All Nerds on Facebook, accompanied by the following description (in case you can’t access the link for any reason):

Some fans online are calling for Elliot Page to take on the role of The Flash in James Gunn’s reimagined DC Universe. After the controversy surrounding Ezra Miller, many fans believe a fresh face is needed, and some have suggested Page as an ideal candidate. The reasoning is largely based on Page’s strong acting credentials and the belief that he could bring a unique interpretation to the character, especially in the wake of Miller’s departure.

Supporters argue that Page’s portrayal could offer a new perspective, especially if the DCU chooses to shift away from Barry Allen and explore other versions of The Flash, like Wally West or even Jay Garrick. Despite some skepticism, especially regarding whether this casting choice would be seen as “virtue signaling,” many fans are excited about the idea and believe Page could do justice to the role​.

The photos are truly impressive, and we can confidently say they have us convinced; we believe Elliot Page would be a perfect fit for the role of Barry Allen in the DCU. However, not everyone shares this opinion:

As mentioned, we have no idea what Gunn has planned for the Scarlet Speedster, but this is certainly an exciting fan-casting suggestion. We’re sure many fans would be thrilled to see it come to fruition.
