MCU is bracing for the release of one of its highly awaited shows – ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’ The show arrives in March 2025, and so far, the elements of the shows we’ve seen, including leaked exclusive trailers, look phenomenal!
Even ahead of Daredevil’s proper introduction to the MCU fans are already wondering, is there more in store for Matt Murdock?
Well for starters, Daredevil will also get a second season, this was confirmed several months ago. Season 2 will start filming this fall. After that, Charlie Cox will shoot a small role in ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ which means Daredevil might also have a brief appearance in ‘Spider-Man 4.’
The information comes from Comicodigy which mostly deals with theories rather than accurate data but we can’t call the source entirely inaccurate.
The connection was most likely made due to ‘Spider-Man 4’s’ revealed release schedule. The movie is now bound for a release on July 24, 2026, and ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is set for a May 7, 2027 release.
Even prior to these announcements, Cox’s Daredevil was, according to rumors, supposed to show up in the upcoming ‘Spider-Man’ flick as Kingpin was meant to be a big villain in the movie.
However, with SDCC announcements that Robert Downey Jr. is returning to the MCU but as Doctor Doom, replacing Kang, the plans for ‘Spider-Man 4’ have allegedly changed and the movie is no longer a street-level story but rather a contention of Multiversal themes.
Regarding Daredevil’s role in Doomsday, like the source said it can only be a smaller cameo role since Daredevil is really not up there on a power scale to face what’s coming!
