‘Cuckoo’ – Hulu

Synopsis: Seventeen-year-old Gretchen isn’t happy about leaving her home in America to live with her dad, who has just moved to a resort in the German Alps with his new family. When they arrive, they meet Mr. König, her dad’s boss, who seems oddly focused on Alma, Gretchen’s mute half-sister.

At first, the resort looks like a peaceful getaway, but something feels off. Gretchen starts hearing strange sounds and seeing bloody visions, leading her to uncover a disturbing secret that ties back to her own family.

‘Glue Trap’ – Digital + On Demand, AppleTV Pre-Order

Synopsis: KJ and Dan are having trouble connecting. A few years into a rocky relationship, they head to a friend’s cabin for a weekend getaway to try and reignite their spark. But things take a turn when they find a barely alive mouse stuck to a glue trap. KJ wants to put it out of its misery quickly, while Dan suggests easing its last moments.

They compromise and move on, starting to reconnect in a peaceful setting. Their progress is interrupted when an unexpected guest shows up—a quirky woman who turns out to be their host’s younger sister and didn’t know anyone was staying there.

She decides to stay anyway, and the couple has to deal with her on top of their already shaky relationship. As tensions rise, KJ and Dan begin to wonder if this unwelcome guest could ruin more than just their weekend.

‘Listen Carefully’ – On Demand

Synopsis: When assistant bank manager Andy McNeary’s baby daughter vanishes, his world is turned upside down. A mysterious voice comes through the baby monitor, giving him strict instructions he must follow to save her before she’s lost forever—and his life falls apart.

‘Below’

On what should be a routine rescue mission during World War II, the American submarine, USS Tiger Shark, picks up three survivors on a downed British hospital ship. With the crew trapped together in the sub’s narrow corridors and constricted spaces, the unexpected visitors seem to spark a series of chilling, otherworldly occurrences.

‘The Group’ – On Demand

Synopsis: Recovering heroin addict Kara (Evangelina Burton) has a relapse and after six months away, makes the brave decision to return to Addicts Anonymous Together in an attempt to make amends for a past tragedy. There, she joins the circle for a session of healing with Seth who claims to be clean and sober (Luke Dayhill), self-help skeptic Henry (Tom Coulston), two-years-sober Charley (Jennifer Aries), still-using Eddy (Nobuse ‘Jnr’ Uwaifo), and ex-copper Dave (Mike Kelson), all under the guidance of supportive counsellor Ellen (Alicia Novak).

However, when newcomer Jack (Dylan Baldwin – Dune Part Two) arrives, their safe space is violently shattered. As secrets unravel, the group is forced to confront long-buried wrongs… Can they make peace with their past or will they face the ultimate reckoning?

Synopsis: Hellboy and a rookie BPRD agent are stranded in 1950s rural Appalachia, where they stumble upon a coven of witches ruled by a local devil with ties to Hellboy’s past.

Synopsis: A couple returns home to armed strangers. With no help from their neighbors or law enforcement, they attempt to get evidence of the intrusion. Synopsis: After family trauma, Haley Stone has isolated herself from everyone except her brother Nicky. But with her complicated grief and emotional well-being deteriorating, Haley experiences hallucinations, vivid nightmares, and debilitating episodes of sleep paralysis.

These episodes become ever more pressing when Haley notices bruises on her body. She suspects the entity that visits her in the night is not just a figment of her imagination. With the assistance of a paranormal investigator, Haley must access the truth buried between realities and free herself from this living nightmare.
