Fan Theory States that ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ Already Connects to ‘Spider-Man 4’ – Here’s How

Recently a new trailer for ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ was released and fans learned that the main villain of the movie will seemingly be Knull – the King in Black. This led to mostly mixed reactions due to Sony’s poor handling of Marvel characters in the last few years.

The premise of ‘The Last Dance’ seems simple enough, Symbiotes will start arriving on Earth in great numbers, seemingly running away from something, and that something seems to be Knull.

Naturally, Venom and Eddie will have to take Knull down, which quite honestly seems highly unrealistic since Knull is a multiversal, Avengers-level threat that can’t be taken down by a single, or even a hive of symbiotes.

Due to ‘The Last Dance’ being the final movie in the trilogy, already theories have been developed that Hardy’s Eddie will die in the movie. On the other hand, other rumors state that Venom will cross over to the MCU along with Knull, as ‘The Last Dance’ won’t be the only project in which Knull will appear.

Now both theories make sense if you cherry-pick arguments, and industry insider Daniel Richtman recently pointed out something very interesting. Nowhere in the trailer can you see Venom and Eddie being in New York, despite the actor recently doing reshoots there.

Due to the fact that Spider-Man is New York’s prime defender and due to his connection to Venom, fans started putting out theories that Hardy was actually shooting a post-credit scene that would connect directly to the upcoming ‘Spider-Man 4.’

You can argue that the trailer can’t possibly show you every location in the movie, and New York is currently listed on IMDb when you check out ‘The Last Dance’ filming locations, so it’s possible that New York scenes just weren’t included in the trailers.

But on the other hand that would explain all the rumors that Venom is coming to the MCU, and it would explain that post-credit scene that was seemingly even more complicated with the release of the first ‘The Last Dance,’ trailer.
