Red Hulk’s CGI in ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Heavily Divides MCU Fans: “Bro what the hell is that”

On Friday, the first teaser trailer for ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ was released, and the first reactions were – extremely polarizing. Judging by the first reactions to the trailer, fans either love it or hate it and the reasons are many. Fans object to Sam Wilson taking over the mantle of ‘Captain America.’ They object to Sabra being in the movie, due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.

However, most fans were glad to see Thaddeus Ross’ Red Hulk in the trailer. The scene was brief but showcased Red Goliath in action. But, just like with the trailer itself, fans either considered the CGI in the scene horrible or excellent.

Now it’s no secret that the MCU somewhat dropped the ball on the CGI, as both ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ and ‘The Marvels,’ two out of three of last year’s movies, proved to have some hilarious instances of effects going wrong. Some fans claimed that Red Hulk’s scene in the trailer is likewise bad, some take comfort in the fact that the movie is yet to go through post-production since extensive reshoots were finished just a week ago.

Some fans however note that Red Hulk’s CGI is among the best in the MCU as a whole, but enough summarizing, we decided to highlight the best reactions on X, so see for yourself:
