Fans Vote Top 10 Strongest MCU Characters & Some Powerful Names Are Nowhere To Be Seen

MCU is at the moment the biggest cinematic universe that ever existed, encompassing 33 movies and dozens of live-action shows, it’s needles to say that it introduced hundreds of characters. From humans to gods and strange creatures some decided to protect the Earth from evil forces, while some wanted to plunge it into chaos.

Naturally, judging the general strength of characters as well as their powers is difficult since it depends on the situation and how they are used. This is why we decided to turn to Ranker, where nearly 7000 fans cast their vote regarding (in their opinion) the most powerful character in the MCU, and here are the results.

10. Vision (1379 Votes)

I gotta admit I was surprised to see Vision so high on the list and his creator didn’t even make it to the top 15, but I guess it does make sense. Vision was created by Mind Stone, and as you can see by the rest of the list, characters that derive their powers from Infinity Stones mostly ranked really high.

Vision casually managed to lift Mjolnir, he also has unique powers related to body manipulation, he can control his density, strength, etc.

9. Ancient One (1389 Votes)

Ancient One has plenty of going for her, but it’s definitely a complete mastery over mystic arts that landed her on this list. Ancient One’s biggest feat I would say is the fact that her presence alone on Earth was so scary that it deterred plenty of threats.

8. Hulk (2324 Votes)

Hulk is likely physically the most powerful character in the comics, but his MCU version is significantly weaker, especially since we’ve met Professor Hulk. Still, Hulk managed to land on this list despite not being as powerful as his comic counterpart. His biggest feat is likely wielding the Infinity Gauntlet and surviving it.

7. Captain Marvel (2788 Votes)

Like Vision, Captain Marvel got her powers by interacting with Infinity Stone – Space Stone to be more exact. The accident killed her and then Kree did the rest, turning her into one of the most powerful characters in the MCU. Carol is by far the most powerful in her binary form, and her biggest feats are facing Thanos head-on and more recently, re-igniting Hala’s sun.

6. Odin (2,221 Votes)

Odin really didn’t have that much opportunity to shine in the MCU, but we can only assume that Odinforce in the MCU is as powerful as it is in the comics. Odin’s greatest feat is managing to remove all powers and abilities from Thor with a single thought.

5. Hela (2380 Votes)

Hela definitely proved herself to be one of the most dangerous and powerful villains in the MCU. She is in theory unstoppable and I’m glad the movie did her justice. Hela’s greatest feat is definitely destroying Mjolnir.

4. Thanos (2695 Votes)

Obviously, we’re talking about Thanos without the Infinity Gauntlet here. MCU Thanos is significantly weaker than his comic counterpart, but the fact that he managed to wield Infinity Gauntlet – TWICE tells you enough about his mental and physical powers. Our homeboy here channeled incomprehensible amounts of raw power through himself.

3. Thor (3489 Votes)

Well, this one goes without saying, Thor is among the most powerful due to his godly heritage, weapons, and Asgardian magic that literally makes him a force of nature. Honestly, I don’t have time to list every single Thor’s insane feat in the MCU, but let’s just say that coming the closest to physically killing Thanos and cutting through the Infinity Gauntlet blast should qualify.

2. Doctor Strange (3561 Votes)

The illusive Doctor Strange. Like the Ancient One before him, Stephen is a master of mystical arts, despite being born as a regular human. This regular human managed to stand up to Thanos and lock an extra-dimensional dark god into a time loop, he managed to make everyone forget Spider-Man and see millions of futures. I don’t necessarily agree that he is number 2, but he does have great potential due to the overpowered nature of his powers.

1. Scarlet Witch (3887 Votes)

You probably expected this, fans truly do consider Wanda to be the most powerful character in the MCU, well, she used to be until she got killed off by debris. This is all due to her probability-altering powers which roughly translate to: can manipulate reality. Wanda’s greatest feat is standing up to Thanos, twice.
