This year’s CinemaCon delivered in a huge way, Marvel Studios presentation showcased clips related to ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ and ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ and some other projects were also briefly mentioned.

Kevin Feige confirmed that ‘Thunderbolts*’ officially changed the name and showcased the new logo of the movie, but according to his words, we’re going to discuss the asterisk later.

Despite the ‘Fantastic Four’ being the most talked about project in the last few days, due to Julia Garner being cast as a female version of Silver Surfer, the project was only briefly mentioned when Feige confirmed that the movie will be shot in IMAX. He also revealed that the filming commences in 2 months, confirming most of the rumors.

The project was delayed quite a few times due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, and the cast was relatively recently locked on. Pedro Pascal will be MCU’s new Reed Richards, with Vanessa Kirby taking on the role of Sue Storm. The Thing and the Human Torch will be played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn respectively.

The movie will clearly take place in an alternate reality in the past, and according to reports the team will already be established and they will be considered celebrities in their reality until catastrophe strikes their planet and Marvel’s first family is forced to look for salvation elsewhere, in MCU’s prime reality.

There is also plenty of talk that Franklin Richards will appear in the movie, that he will be born in space and have a unique connection to Galactus.

‘Fantastic Four’ is scheduled to be released on July 25, 2025. Have something to add? Let us know in the comments below!
