Finn Wolfhard’s acting career started in 2012 with a role in the music video ‘Retro Oceans.’ In 2014, he appeared in the TV series ‘The 100’ as Zoran and in ‘Supernatural’ as Jordie Pinsky the next year.

His breakthrough role came in 2016 when he began portraying Mike Wheeler in the Netflix series ‘Stranger Things.’ He auditioned for the role through a video submission after seeing an open casting call. Wolfhard and his co-stars won a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

It’s understandable that Wolfhard became one of the most promising up-and-coming talents in the world of acting, and as such, he would make a perfect addition to the MCU, which in recent times, is looking for young blood to refresh its roster of potential superheroes and character.

Recently, Finn took a lie detector test as a part of a Vanity Fair video, he was asked a series of questions and presumably answered truthfully. He revealed that he once had aspirations to join the MCU, but those in recent times disappeared.

Finn was asked by the interviewers whether he doesn’t want to join the MCU “because the movies were mid recently” and Wolfhard answered a simple “yes.”

The general audience and the critics agree with both the interviewer and Wolfhard as it would seem, at least according to the box office results. Wolfhard was also asked whether he would be able to raise the quality of the movies by joining the MCU and Finn replied that he doesn’t have that power by himself.

Wolfhard’s most recent role was in ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ which was buried by critics. His upcoming roles will be in ‘The Legend of Ochi’ and the upcoming biographical comedy-drama directed by Jason Reitman ‘SNL 1975’
