‘Thunderbolts*’ is one of the most exciting upcoming projects in the MCU. The movie will introduce a team similar to DC’s Suicide Squad, made up of former villains and anti-heroes who are now on a better path in the MCU.
The movie will also introduce Sentry, one of Marvel’s most powerful characters, played by Lewis Pullman.
We know most of the team members. David Harbour will return as Red Guardian, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker (U.S. Agent). Olga Kurylenko will reprise her role as Taskmaster, and Florence Pugh will return as Yelena Belova, the MCU’s new Black Widow.
The movie will also see Julia Louis-Dreyfus reprise her role as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. Valentina is clever, manipulative, and has her own agenda, often working behind the scenes to shape events to her advantage. She is a bit of a wildcard, playing both sides when it suits her.
The recent teaser trailer confirmed that Valentina was behind the purchase of the Avengers Tower, and some recent rumors related to the movie itself claim that the goals in the MCU aren’t entirely noble.
Florence Pugh, the star of the movie recently commented on Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ involvement with the movie. Pugh confirmed that she is extremely happy to work with the legendary actress for reasons related and unrelated to the movie:
I get to work with Julia again and I get to learn from her again and I get to talk to her about random sh*t again, it just makes me feel very, very happy.

Most recent rumors indicate that the team will eventually turn on Valentina. Yelena, the US Agent, Ghost, and Taskmaster are reportedly dispatched by Valentina to eliminate a target in a vault. Upon discovering they’ve been set up to die on this mission, they join forces against their boss to bring her down.
