Cartoon Network fans are starting 2025 with disappointment as several beloved animated series have been removed from Max.

Let’s remember that last month, we learned that Max, the streaming home of countless DC shows and movies, is facing some unexpected changes as four fan-favorite DC animated series were set to leave its library by the start of 2025.

Namely, Teen Titans, Teen Titans Go!, Static Shock, and Green Lantern: The Animated Series are no longer available after December 31. However, it seems that those were not the only projects removed from Max’s library starting January 1.

Among the notable titles now missing are the first seven seasons of Teen Titans Go!, the original Teen Titans, Ed, Edd n’ Eddy, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, The Looney Tunes Show, Static Shock, and Green Lantern: The Animated Series.

While the eighth season of Teen Titans Go! remains available, fans hoping to binge earlier episodes will need to look elsewhere, such as Hulu, where some seasons can still be streamed.

This isn’t the first shake-up for Cartoon Network content on Max. Over the past year, popular shows like Chowder, Regular Show, The Amazing World of Gumball, We Bare Bears, and Steven Universe were also removed.

Furthermore, movies like Shazam! Fury of the Gods, The LEGO Movie, and classics like A Clockwork Orange and Se7en were also removed.

These changes have left many wondering about Warner Bros. Discovery’s future plans for Cartoon Network’s extensive library.

Adding to fans’ concerns, the official Cartoon Network website was shut down in August, redirecting visitors to Max for animated content. Combined with these removals and the end of newer series like Craig of the Creek, questions about the future of Cartoon Network’s brand have intensified.

The removal of Teen Titans Go! is particularly surprising given its status as one of Warner Bros. Discovery’s biggest animated successes. The show recently celebrated a milestone of 400 episodes with a massive Cartoon Network marathon, underscoring its cultural impact. While the newest episodes are still available on Max, the decision to pull earlier seasons signals a shift in strategy that has yet to be explained.

For now, fans can find some of these classics on other platforms like Hulu and Prime Video. Still, the absence of these iconic shows from Max—a service tied directly to Cartoon Network’s parent company—raises questions about the long-term availability of these beloved series.

Warner Bros. Discovery has yet to comment on its plans for Cartoon Network content in 2025, leaving fans in suspense as the year begins.

What do you think? Why is this happening? Alleged $50 million debt is nothing. Where will we watch these shows? Tubi? Or is getting them on a physical the best choice? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
