Gal Gadot Teases She Might Not Be Done with Wonder Woman After All

Gal Gadot is one of modern Hollywood’s most known and paid actresses. After she was crowned Miss Israel in 2004, she began her acting career in 2008, and the next year she already got one of her most known roles — Gisele Yashar in the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise. In 2014, she was cast as Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman, in Zack Snyder’s ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice,’ which premiered in 2016.

After her debut as Wonder Woman, Gadot reprised the role in 2017’s ‘Wonder Woman,’ 2017’s ‘Justice League’ (including the 2021’s director’s cut), and 2020’s ‘Wonder Woman 1984.’ This year, she had two uncredited cameo appearances in ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’ and ‘The Flash.’

The latter erased the previous DCEU timeline and started building the stage for the soft-reboot universe called DCU, in which we know Batman and Superman will be recast, but we still didn’t get any official statements about the future of Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and the Flash.

Gal Gadot teases that she might not be over with her most-known role yet!

We know that DCU won’t be a total reboot of DCEU, considering that some actors and storylines will continue in this new franchise, including ‘Peacemaker’ and the spin-off series ‘Waller’ in which Viola Davis will reprise the title role. After ‘Wonder Woman 3’ was canceled, many fans thought Gadot would lose her DC role the same way Henry Cavill did.

But unlike Cavill, neither Gadot nor DC Studios confirmed that we really won’t see Gal’s Wonder Woman in DCU anymore. During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Gadot was asked about her potential Wonder Woman future, and here’s what she answered:

“Things are being worked behind the scenes, and once the right moment arrives, you’ll know about it.”
