‘Godzilla vs. Hulk’: The Ultimate Battle of Strength Hits Shelves April 16!

The King of the Monsters is making a grand comeback to Marvel Comics in 2025, ready to clash with some of Marvel’s most iconic heroes and villains. More than four decades have passed since Marvel’s original ‘Godzilla’ comic series (1977–1979), written by Doug Moench and illustrated by Herb Trimpe, concluded its run. Since then, Marvel has reintroduced fans to the legendary kaiju through reprints, including a facsimile edition and hardcover collections.

Now, the publisher is taking it a step further with six brand-new, one-shot stories that span different Marvel eras.

Expect to see Spider-Man, Captain America, Storm, Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Thor, She-Hulk, Hulk, Wolverine, Rogue, Cyclops, Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch, and the Thing—all taking part in this ambitious crossover event.

Following the release of ‘Godzilla Vs. Fantastic Four’ in March, fans can look forward to a showdown with the Jade Giant in April. ‘Godzilla vs. Hulk’ #1, written by Gerry Duggan with art by Giuseppe Camuncoli, arrives on April 16. You can check out the cover below:
