The new season of Doctor Who is growing, as official sources have just confirmed a new cast member who is joining the series in a small yet mischievously villainous role, as has been confirmed.

The actor in question is Freddie Fox, whom you might know from HBO’s House of the Dragon. In Doctor Who, Fox is set to play a villain who will cause significant trouble for the Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) and Belinda Chandra (Varada Sethu). Not much has been revealed about Fox’s role, but the actor has commented on the role.

I had the most amazing time making this show and feel honoured to have been asked to be a part of Russell’s crazy, bonkers, beautiful vision. Added to which, sharing space with the iconic Doctor that is Ncuti Gatwa was special beyond imagining. If audiences enjoy watching it half as much as I did making it, televisions are on course to explode right across the world!,” Fox said about his role.
