Hugh Jackman Has Some Smart Advice for Anyone and Everyone Working with Ryan Reynolds
Few actor duos are as funny as Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds. Their playful feud, filled with hilarious jabs, shows how much they enjoy working together. Despite the jokes, they’re close friends, which makes their collaborations even more fun.
Jackman recently talked about what it’s like working with Reynolds. When they first teamed up on X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2007, Jackman was already a star, while Reynolds was still rising. Now, both are big names in Hollywood. In a profile by THR, Jackman praised Reynolds’ creativity, warning anyone offering Reynolds a fancy trailer not to bother.
Jackman shared, ‘He’s written five versions of every scene and keeps tweaking until the last minute. He’s always on set, never in the trailer.’
This shows Reynolds’ dedication. Jackman, who once joked Reynolds wasn’t funny despite Martha Stewart’s claims, now respects how committed Reynolds is to his craft. This dedication is likely why Reynolds stayed so successful.
Their recent work includes Deadpool & Wolverine, with Shawn Levy directing. Levy has teamed up with Reynolds multiple times and praised him as a hands-on producer who improves things daily.
Reynolds, Levy, and Jackman are also working on a new project called Boy Band. With their track record, it’s no surprise they keep teaming up. If you’re curious, you can catch Deadpool & Wolverine on Disney+.
