Insane Unused ‘Agatha All Along’ Post-Credit Scene Teases Great Future for Plaza’s Death

‘Agatha All Along’ recently released its two final episodes. The shows concluded several character arcs and left quite promising futures for many others, including Agatha who unfortunately met her end in episode 8.
In the penultimate episode of the show, Agatha finally realizes she cannot run from Death (literally) forever, and in an unusual moment of sacrifice decides to give herself in so Billy Maximoff could live.
Fortunately for the audience, Agatha returns in spirit form. With eternity in front of her and unable to face her son in the afterlife she decides to follow Billy on his journey to locate his twin brother Tommy.
If you can recall in episode 8, Billy and Agatha were able to pull Tommy’s soul from “the void” and summon it inside a young boy who drowned due to a prank. Billy is now aware that his brother’s soul is somewhere out there, but locating the boy will be tricky.
Billy’s story with Tommy is far from over even if the hardest part is behind him, but it seems that Agatha’s story with Aubrey Plaza’s Death is far from over as well. According to popular Marvel leaker and insider MyTimeToShineHello, there was a post-credit scene that Marvel Studios decided to cut from the show that showed Rio Vidal aka Lady Death following Agatha and Billy through the portal at the end of episode 9.
Keep in mind that MyTimeToShineHello usually has a somewhat mixed track record when it comes to leaks and rumors, but in the case of ‘Agatha All Along,’ they were fairly accurate including two major “leaks” that spoiled the finale completely if you happened across them.
We know that Agatha and Rio have a complicated history with each other and not all parts of it were explained properly. Now that we know that this post-credit scene presumably exists, we wonder whether the two can make amends now that they are no longer the hunter and the prey.
There are plenty of projects in which both characters can appear in the future, most of them related to Scarlet Witch’s corner of the MCU. In the last few months, plenty of rumors pointed in the direction of Marvel Studios developing a standalone Wiccan project. Since Agatha is now a big part of Billy’s journey, it stands to reason that Death will also be involved.
