‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ has seen the return of many characters from Fox’s X-Men franchise, in fact, it’s those cameos that made the movie a true hit that’s currently breaking various box-office records.

One of the most anticipated cameos in the movie was the one from Dafne Keen as she returned to reprise her role as Laura aka X-23 from ‘Logan,’ released in 2017.

Now we know that Feige teased that the mutant era begins in the MCU with the release of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ and fans like Keen’s portrayal of X-23, with a large number of fans proposing that she takes over the role of MCU’s main Wolverine.

Some insider reports also stated that the actress will return in future projects. During ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ marketing campaign Keen was constantly lying to the press and fans claiming that she was not in the movie – a condition known as Andrew Garfield syndrome.

When her role was revealed the actress admitted that part of her enjoyed lying to the fans. Now in her most recent interview with the Wrap, it appears that Keen is lying again. ‘The Acolyte’ star was asked about her potential return to the role and Keen said she honestly didn’t have any conversations with the studio:

Genuinely, I’m not lying. No, I have not been involved in any conversations. Hopefully there have been conversations! I have no idea.

Even if this is true, Keen’s return will most likely take place in Secret Wars, and that movie is far from being in production. Keen however stated that she would love to work with Jackman again:

I’ve gotten so much from Hugh, and I owe my entire career to him, and I owe so much of who I am as an actor to him, even just aside from the opportunities that that’s given me, just how I conduct myself on set is completely, completely his doing. I think having such an incredible role model to look up to is the greatest thing he’s ever given me.

In my mind, they’ve teamed up, and they’re like a dream team, they both get on each other’s nerves. She adores him. They have this incredible multi-dimensional connection because they’re the same person, and they’re out there fighting for justice, in my head, alongside their yappy friend, Deadpool.
