The MCU has a full slate of upcoming projects, including both movies and Disney+ shows. Recently, there have been several updates about the MCU’s ‘Vision’ series, which will center on White Vision.

James Spader is confirmed to return as Ultron in the show, and there’s a possibility that Scarlet Witch might also make an appearance. While ‘Vision’ is confirmed to be part of a ‘WandaVision’ trilogy, along with ‘Agatha All Along’ there might be more connections to other upcoming projects as well, notably ‘Armor Wars.’

Now obviously the return of Ultron is a big deal, as he is one of the scariest villains but it might also bring excitement to ‘Armor Wars,’ a project that’s largely been ignored by fans up to this point.

The connection between ‘Vision’ and ‘Armor Wars’ currently doesn’t exist, except if you take into account that both Vision and Rhodey have been members of West Coast Avengers, a team that is rumored to have its elements incorporated in both shows as well as in the upcoming ‘Wonder Man.’

So far, we don’t have a clue what ‘Armor Wars’ is going to be about, but it most certainly can’t be a direct adaptation of the comic storyline due to Tony Stark being dead.

The storyline begins with Tony Stark discovering that his advanced Iron Man armor technology has been stolen and is being used by various villains. This theft leads to the creation of new weapons and suits of armor that could potentially be used for destructive purposes. This ends up happening and Iron Man is once again forced to fight against his own tech pondering whether such tech should be created in the first place. It’s his biggest fear brought to life.

War Machine will obviously take his place in this context and it’s quite possible, again, if the original story is adapted, that he will be the one to reclaim the stolen tech and quite possibly stumble upon Ultron, Iron Man’s most terrifying creation.

But again, these are pure speculations since almost nothing is known about the film except for the latest update that Riri Williams aka Ironheart will be featured. No release date has been given currently.
