Hollywood’s rising star Jenna Ortega, best known for her roles in the Scream reboot, Netflix’s Wednesday, and the Beetlejuice sequel, is reportedly in talks with Marvel Studios for a potential role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
According to sources from MTTSH, discussions are ongoing, though the specifics of the character she might portray remain under wraps.
While Marvel frequently meets with various actors, Ortega’s involvement in negotiations suggests that official confirmation could be on the horizon. However, it’s worth noting that nothing has been finalized just yet.
Ortega’s schedule is jam-packed, with leading roles in Taika Waititi’s upcoming adaptation of Klara and the Sun and an untitled project by Trey Edward Shults, co-starring The Weeknd and Barry Keoghan. She’s also starring in A24’s Death of a Unicorn alongside Paul Rudd, as well as Alba directed by Francisca Alegría.
There were earlier rumors that Ortega might take on the role of White Tiger in Daredevil: Born Again, though nothing has been confirmed yet.
