This week’s episode of ‘Agatha All Along’ finally cleared up what Billy was up to and why he searched for Agatha in the first place. As it turns out Billy was kind of aware of his origin all along, and he was actually quite masterfully playing Agatha, although she would never admit it.
Billy never wanted power, after talking to Ralph Bohner he realized that his twin is somewhere out there and the best bet to find him is Agatha – one of the last people to see him alive. To see his entire family alive.
Both Billy claims that he can sense Tommy somewhere on the Witches Road, but he can’t locate him. We’re quite confident that both Billy (Wiccan) and Tommy (Speed) will play an important part in the future of the MCU, especially in the context of Young Avengers. However, what are the odds of seeing Tommy in ‘Agatha All Along?’
We’ve previously analyzed these odds and our conclusion was that we will most likely see him in a cameo role or briefly, as he is not expected to have a big role in the show. Besides, there is that rumored project that’s supposed to focus on Wiccan’s search for Tommy, meaning that he might no find his brother by the end of the show.
Joe Locke who plays Billy Maximoff/Kaplan/Wiccan in ‘Agatha All Along’ recently sat down with Variety and explained some things in light of his big reveal. The actor was asked about Tommy and whether we will see him in the show. Well, his answer was exactly how we expected it to be:
I can’t answer that. Well, I know the answer, but I can’t tell you. There are still a few secrets in there.
Schaeffer, the showrunner, gave us an equally vague non-answer:
It’s just exciting to finally be able to level with the audience that his desire is a reunion with his brother
Variety
Fan theories so far focused on perhaps Ralph Bohner being reincarnated Tommy Maximoff, however, this wouldn’t make sense, except if someone managed to cast a sigil on him as well.
