Kelsey Grammer Teases Bright Future for Beast in the MCU: “There was a huge sort of outburst when I showed up”

Even before the release of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ we had several mutants (and members of X-Men) in the MCU. The mutants or the X-Men were not addressed directly so the upcoming projects focusing solely on X-Men are going to remedy that.

One of the latest mutant appearances in the MCU belongs to the Beast, one of the most notable mutants. Kelsey Grammer showed up in the post-credits scenes for ‘The Marvels’ as he is seemingly working with Monica’s mother, Maria Rambeau in that strange reality in which Monica ended up at the end of the movie.

We know that an X-Men live-action reboot is on the horizon, the script being penned by Michael Lesslie, and judging by everything we know about the projects (which isn’t much) it’s going to be a younger crew of X-Men with some characters that previously weren’t adapted to live-action forms.

Now there have also been rumors that Wolverine will be part of the rebooted roster, and Halle Berry also teased her return recently. Now Kelsey Grammer also teased his return but in the most straightforward way speaking with ComicBook.

There’s nothing I can talk about. What I do know is that there was a huge sort of outburst when I showed up at the end of The Marvels, I guess it was. The response was really almost… it wasn’t unexpected. There’d be some response, but it was pretty overwhelming, and so there are some conversations.

Grammer played alternate versions of Beast in two movies, ‘X-Men: The Last Stand’ and ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past.’ Even if the actor doesn’t end up being the primary variant of the character, this still doesn’t mean that his story (along with Monica’s and Maria’s) won’t be addressed in the upcoming projects, since incursions are starting to be a big deal in the MCU.
