King Faraday Rumored to Join ‘Waller’—DC’s Elite Spy Enters the Max Series!

‘Waller’ was announced in 2022 as a spinoff of ‘Peacemaker,’ with Viola Davis reprising her role as the titular character. Unlike ‘Peacemaker,’ this series won’t be a comedy, as Amanda Waller is a much more serious and ruthless figure. The tone of the show will reflect her character.

Originally slated for a 2024 release, ‘Waller’ now faces an uncertain timeline, with James Gunn shifting his focus to other DCU projects.

Back in December, Gunn provided us with the last update on the show, when he mentioned that the scrips for ‘Waller,’ ‘Booster Gold’ and ‘The Brave and the Bold’ are “not quite where he wants them to be yet.”

Now Jeff Sneider, a popular industry insider has an important rumor to share with the fans. According to his report, King Faraday, one of DC’s top secret agents, could be part of the show.

King Faraday is a highly skilled spy in the DC universe. He has worked with powerful organizations like the Suicide Squad, Checkmate, and the CIA, handling dangerous missions and protecting national security. He is known for being smart, tough, and always one step ahead of his enemies.

If Faraday does appear in ‘Waller,’ it could mean we will see more government secrets, spy action, and high-stakes missions in the show.

Waller’s latest appearance was in ‘Creature Commandos,’ the first installment in the newly rebooted DCU, so we look forward to more from the character.
