Knull Set to Debut in ‘Venom: Last Dance’ but Expected to Return for Future Projects

The final trailer for Venom: The Last Dance has just dropped, and it’s generating a lot of buzz with new details and fan reactions. Among the most exciting revelations is the confirmation that Knull, the formidable Symbiote ruler, will make his debut on-screen in this film. Sony seems set on giving Venom and Eddie a grand send-off with this major cinematic event.

While we’ve previously covered fan reactions, this update focuses on Knull’s future beyond Venom: The Last Dance. According to a popular insider, Knull’s appearance in the film may not be his last. Are these claims accurate? Read on to explore more about Knull’s upcoming role in the Marvel universe!

If you’re not fully acquainted with Knull, here’s a brief overview: Knull is an ancient and malevolent deity who created the powerful All-Black the Necrosword, and the alien races known as the Klyntar and Exolons. Emerging after the destruction of the sixth cosmos, he was initially content to drift through the void.

However, when the Celestials arrived to forge the seventh iteration of the Marvel Universe, Knull was awakened by their “Light of Creation” and enraged by the intrusion into his realm of darkness. In retaliation, he crafted the All-Black sword and killed one of the Celestials.

Given Knull’s significant role as one of Marvel’s greatest villains, his potential limited appearance in Venom: The Last Dance has some fans worried that Sony might be undermining the character.

However, there’s some potentially reassuring news: According to a rumor from Alex Perez of the Cosmic Circus, a well-regarded insider, Knull is set to make his debut in The Last Dance but is expected to return in a future project.

A few hours after Alex Perez stated that Knull would appear in more projects, notable leaker and scooper on X posted that Knull would be the main villain in ‘Spider-Man 4.’

This seems a bit over the top, but it does connect with the previous theories that eventually Venom will cross over to the MCU, it also makes sense in the context of the recent fan theory that states that post-credits scenes for ‘The Last Dance’ were shot in New York.

However, take all of this with a grain of salt since in the last few weeks, we’ve covered dozens of “rumored” villains and characters to make a cameo in ‘Spider-Man 4’ and they can’t all be true.
