‘Magik’ #2 Preview Introduces a New Rocking Enemy for Illyana Rasputin

This week, Illyana Rasputina began a new solo journey in MAGIK #1 by Ashley Allen and Germán Peralta. While looking into the disappearance of mutants, Illyana uncovered a plan to release the demonic entity called Liminal into the world. With demons lurking around every corner of the Marvel Universe, who better to handle the threat than the Soulsword-wielding Magik?

Cal Isaac, a young boy with information about this ancient demonic danger, insisted on joining Illyana on her mission. Together, they’re traveling the globe to find and protect the seals that keep Liminal trapped.

In MAGIK #2, their search leads them to a rock concert in Japan. But things take a strange turn when the headlining act turns out to be a creepy new enemy, SONIC DEMON! With her guitar in hand, Sonic Demon literally electrifies her audience. But who is Sonic Demon, and what does she want with Illyana?
