Disney’s latest Star Wars project, The Acolyte, has been streaming on Disney+ since June 4, 2024. Despite facing controversies and review-bombing, it remains one of the most talked-about shows, with fans actively discussing the series and various theories about its characters.

As the first season nears its finale, fans eagerly await what showrunner Leslye Headland and her cast have in store. The series has experienced its ups and downs, but since Episode 5, it has been gaining momentum, with fans growing more interested in the story.

As the finale draws near, cast and crew members, including Manny Jacinto (Qimir) and Amandla Stenberg (who plays the dual main role), are hinting that The Acolyte will deliver an incredible finale!

The details have emerged from a previously conducted interview that has surfaced again, timed perfectly as the finale approaches. Titled “Doom,” Episode 8 remains shrouded in mystery. However, hints from Jacinto and Stenberg in their earlier discussion suggest something intriguing awaits.

Amandla Stenberg: Well, for me it would be the finale. So much happens, which is very Leslye Headland-esque. Things that you don’t anticipate, very traumatic things. It all goes down, and I think she’s so great at her format and structure, and in that sense.

Manny Jacinto: Yeah, it was in, I’m assuming it was in maybe the first four that they gave out, that’s literally just the beginning. It’s like the first act… Yeah, a lot more jaws to drop.

These quotes originate from a video available on Twitter, and naturally, we have it right here for you to watch.

It’s expected that a series saves its best for the finale, and we’re eager for The Acolyte to live up to that expectation. While the series has had its highs and lows throughout its broadcast, we’re hopeful that the finale will truly shine.

Given everything that’s transpired, the series deserves some recognition, and we anticipate an ending that leaves fans craving more. Stay tuned with us as we continue to cover it!
