Marvel Exec Teases ‘Agatha All Along’ Season 2: ‘We Want to Do It—But let’s not rush it’

Agatha All Along has been a huge success for Marvel Studios, and fans are eager for a second season. Patti LuPone recently shared that showrunner Jac Schaeffer told the cast from the start that the series wouldn’t continue beyond one season. However, other Marvel Studios executives have been hinting at a different possibility.
In an interview, Brad Winderbaum, head of TV & Streaming, was asked about the possibility of a second season. He explained that Agatha All Along has the potential to continue as an ongoing series.
I think it’s ‘linear series potential. A show like Agatha, to me, is concept based. Yes, a second season for sure is something that we would want to do, but let’s not rush it. Let’s get the right idea and then make it.
When asked about LuPone’s past comments on the show, Winderbaum playfully responded, “What’d she say?” before praising her performance:
All I know is Patti’s unbelievable. Her performance in that series is just incredible. That show, that’s one of my favorite things hands down that I’ve been a part of. And the chemistry of that cast and Jac in that showrunner role, it just really was magic. Sorry, that’s cheesy, but it really was.
He also shared his love for the project, calling it “one of my favorite things hands down that I’ve been a part of.” He described the cast’s chemistry and showrunner Jac Schaeffer’s leadership as “magic.”
While a second season isn’t confirmed yet, it’s clear that Marvel is open to continuing Agatha’s story—when the time is right. In the meantime, we can look forward to the last installment in the ‘WandaVision’ trilogy – ‘Vision Quest,’ which will pick up White Vision’s story shortly after the events of the ‘WandaVision.’
