‘Marvel Rivals’ #1 Will Feature a Free Digital Code for Jeff the Land Shark

Marvel just threw in a last-minute bonus for Marvel Rivals #1 that’s going to get people rushing to stores. The print version now includes a free digital code for a Jeff the Land Shark ‘Unlimited Appetite’ spray in the Marvel Rivals game. This kind of promo has worked before for both Marvel and DC, so expect long lines when it drops.

The comic throws readers into a chaotic Tokyo 2099, where a time rift has torn through reality, messing with the Web of Life and Destiny. Two teams are racing to fix it, but they don’t agree on how.

One side, led by Peni Parker, wants to use cyberspace to patch things up. The other, led by Spider-Man, believes in reinforcing the Web with Chronovium instead. Neither side is backing down, and that’s where the battle begins.

Marvel Rivals is the new PvP team shooter from Marvel Games and NetEase Games, featuring an ever-growing roster of superheroes and villains. Players fight across destructible maps pulled from the Marvel Multiverse, making every battle unpredictable. The game is already available on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games Store, and MarvelRivals.com.

The comic itself collects Marvel Rivals Infinity Comic #1-6 in print for the first time. Written by Paul Allor with art from Luca Claretti, it’s packed with action and high-stakes conflict. It’s a one-shot with a price of $6.99, hitting stores on April 2, 2025.

Collectors and gamers will want to grab this fast, especially with variant covers from artists like Peach Momoko, Federico Sabbatini, and others. With the game already getting attention, adding a free digital item is just going to make this comic even harder to find.
