Marvel Studios Releases First Teaser for Highly Anticipated ‘Eyes of Wakanda’ – First Look & Release Date Revealed

As Marvel Studios is shifting its focus on animated content, fans can look forward to plenty of animated shows, and it seems they are releasing sooner rather than later. Marvel Studios recently released a short teaser announcing release dates for upcoming 2024/2025 shows.

Among them was ‘Eyes of Wakanda’ which was confirmed to be in development nearly a year ago.

The series follows Wakandan warriors who have traveled around the world throughout history to find dangerous vibranium artifacts.

It was announced by Marvel Studios Animation in December 2023 and was created with the help of Ryan Coogler’s production company, Proximity Media, which also worked on the ‘Black Panther’ movies.

The best part of the show is that it’s going to be canon to the MCU, something that Marvel TV exec Brad Winderbaum confirmed several months ago:

We’re exploring so many amazing avenues on the animated side. Eyes of Wakanda, more than any other show, fits right into our sacred MCU timeline continuity. [Black Panther director Ryan Coogler] is a producer on it, Todd Harris is one of our long-time storyboard artists who directs it.

It’s about Wakandan history and mythology, and it’s really cool. It looks amazing. And it feels like, ‘Okay I’m getting an animated look into the MCU.
