At the time of this writing, the Marvel Cinematic Unvierse has been existing for more than 15 years now. So far, the franchise has spawned 32 movies, nine television series on Disney+, three series on ABC, and six series that Netflix originally made. Not to mention all the prelude comics, short films, a few video games, and literature.
With so much content, it can be pretty challenging to keep track of everything that happened in the MCU timeline, particularly if you’re the type of fan who likes to know everything that happened in chronological order. Well, Marvel Studios is also aware of that, and that’s why they now officially presented ‘Marvel Studios’ The Marvel Cinematic Universe: An Official Timeline.’

This book was officially announced earlier this year with the first cover, which was later changed a bit before the final cover was revealed. Now, the studio has revealed an official trailer in which we get the first look at a couple of pages from the inside. Marvel Studios’ president, Kevin Feige, and the executive Brad Winderbaum, along with the book authors Anthony Breznican and Rebecca Theodore-Vachon, have teased what we can expect from the book. You can watch the trailer here:
“It’s the MCU that you have seen on screen. But deconstructed. Every moment, every bit of history that’s mentioned is taken out of the films, out of the TV shows, and laid out end-to-end.
There’s a lot of story in the MCU. It’s very complex, it’s very interconnected. We’ve covered so many storylines, so many characters, so many different worlds. This book has everything.”

Fifteen years of existence, and the Marvel Cinematic Unvierse still doesn’t plan to slow down. On the contrary, we’re getting more content than ever. Some fans might say that is creating superhero fatigue, which has been the subject of many discussions in the last few years.
Regardless, Kevin Feige and his associates are surely preparing a lot of new things behind Marvel’s walls for the fans to enjoy in the coming years. There are many new movies and television series currently in development, and we have no doubt that Marvel will probably need to make the second part of this book once the Multiverse Saga concludes with ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ in 2027. And after that, whoever lives will tell the tale.
‘Marvel Studios’ The Marvel Cinematic Universe: An Official Timeline’ is set to be released on October 24. You can pre-order it on Amazon now.
