Marvel Studios Sparks Excitement by Hiding Hints That ‘Agatha All Along’ Might Get Season 2 Renewal

‘Agatha All Along’ recently aired its final two episodes, wrapping up some character stories while hinting at future developments. The show was originally planned as a miniseries, with a set number of episodes, like other MCU Disney+ series.

Recently, Marvel Head of TV and Streaming Brad Winderbaum confirmed that the show has been a success for the studio, and he said that he can’t wait to tell more stories related to WestView and its inhabitants.

Now since the awards season is upon us ‘Agatha All Along’ managed to amass quite a lot of nominations so far. The 2024 Critics’ Choice Television Awards has Patti LuPone nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. The 2025 Independent Spirit Awards includes Kathryn Hahn, Joe Locke, and Patti LuPone with nominations for Best Lead Performance, Best Breakthrough Performance, and Best Supporting Performance in a New Scripted Series, respectively.

At the 2025 Saturn Awards, ‘Agatha All Along’ is up for Best Superhero Television Series, with Kathryn Hahn, Aubrey Plaza, and Joe Locke nominated for Best Actress, Best Guest Star, and Best Younger Performer in a Television Series.

This incredible success has led the fans to hope for more ‘Agatha All Along’ content. As you are likely aware the show wrapped up in such a way that it definitely teased more to come for the main cast that includes Hahn’s Agatha, Locke’s Billy, and Plaza’s Lady Death.

Now in the light of all these nominations, the official Marvel Studios account has been caught hiding replies that claimed that the show will get a season 2.

Now keep in mind that this doesn’t confirm anything, it might be the case of over-moderating to stop people from spreading various rumors related to the show. But combine that with some recent hints…and there might definitely be more to this than it meets the day.

Disney+ has decided to submit ‘Agatha All Along’ in the comedy category for the upcoming awards season instead of “limited series”, including the Golden Globes, SAG Awards, and Emmys.

This submission might indicate that the show is not yet over and somewhere along the line, seeing the overwhelmingly positive fan response, the studio perhaps decided to reconsider the show’s status.

Although Disney+ usually produces limited series in recent times, shows like ‘Loki,’ X-Men ’97’ and ‘What If…?’ managed to secure several seasons. ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ was also renewed for a second season ahead of the first season’s release, so we’re definitely hopeful!
