Marvel Unveils Epic First Look at Sam Wilson’s Captain America vs. Red Hulk!

‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is one of the most exciting MCU releases. The movie is bound to be Anthony Mackie’s first solo film under the Captain America mantle, and it’s also going to be the debut of Red Hulk, played by Harrison Ford.

The fans are worried though. Steve Rogers was an enhanced human thanks to the Super Soldier Serum, while Sam Wilson completely lacks any type of superpowers or enhanced physical attributes. This would make it virtually impossible for Captain America to win a head-on fight against Red Hulk.

Mackie recently discussed that the secret to his success will be in the suit, and now Marvel has revealed one more look at how the potential showdown will play out.

ComicBook brought us the cover for ‘Sam Wilson: Captain America’ #2, showing Sam Wilson battling the Red Hulk. The cover shows Red Hulk punching while Sam blocks with his shield. The fight likely takes place near floating platforms where Red Hulk works as Head of Security.

In the story, Sam is involved in a new tech venture that seems too good to be true.

‘Sam Wilson: Captain America,’ co-written by Greg Pak and Evan Narcisse with art by Eder Messias, is a limited series where Sam Wilson faces off against Red Hulk in a super spy thriller.

When Sam uncovers a dangerous plot disguised as a tech venture, he’s shocked to learn that Red Hulk is in charge of the company’s security.

After Eaglestar shows its true colors, Sam tangles with their big, red and furious head of security. But another player is about to enter the fray: Josiah X! He’s got a new mission and a new look – but is he there to help Sam or pursue his own agenda?

Greg Pak and Evan Narcisse have enjoyed collaborating on ‘Sam Wilson: Captain America,’ with Pak praising their creative teamwork and Narcisse highlighting the thrilling, fast-paced adventure that also explores the theme of being excluded from the American Dream, promising readers an exciting journey for Sam.

Pak also says they’re creating a story that deeply explores what it means for a Black social worker from Harlem like Sam to become Captain America, mixing exciting action with meaningful themes.

He especially enjoys how grounded the story is with characters like Sam’s cousin Billie, while also featuring thrilling moments in the sky.
