Marvel’s ‘Bring On The Bad Guys’ Promises Major Villain Showdowns in 2025

Marvel’s 2025 event, Bring On The Bad Guys, is gearing up to deliver an epic experience across seven one-shots, all focusing on some of the most infamous supervillains in the Marvel Universe.

This highly anticipated series, spearheaded by Marc Guggenheim, will feature villains like Doctor Doom, Mephisto, Green Goblin, and more, as they clash in a complex battle with the fate of human souls at stake.

The story centers around Mephisto, who is after a powerful artifact called the Soul Forge, which could grant him control over all human souls. Doctor Doom finds himself in a race against time to stop Mephisto, but a new villain, Sister Sorrow, plays a pivotal role in the plot.

Her true motivations are still shrouded in mystery, but she’s set to be just as dangerous as the legendary villains she teams up with.

Each of the seven one-shots will explore the backstories and power struggles of these iconic villains. Guggenheim will write the opening story, Bring On The Bad Guys: Doctor Doom, with art by Stefano Raffaele, and will conclude the event with Bring On The Bad Guys: Mephisto.

Other one-shots include stories about the Abomination, Loki, Red Skull, and Dormammu, all of which will tie into the larger narrative of Mephisto’s sinister plot.

Fans can expect high-stakes action, moral complexity, and some unexpected twists as Marvel dives into the darker side of its universe. With each issue, we’ll not only get to see these classic villains in action, but we’ll also get a glimpse of Sister Sorrow’s origins and her connection to Mephisto’s ultimate plan.

The first issue, Bring On The Bad Guys: Doom, is set to release on June 5, 2025. Following that, the other one-shots will roll out in the summer, with the event wrapping up in August. It’s a must-read for anyone who loves a deep dive into Marvel’s villains.
