MCU Fans Shocked by John Boyega’s Rejection – Can’t Comprehend that the World Is Not Revolving Around Them

Remember Jonathan Majors? The rising star who was set to play Kang in the MCU and become the franchise’s “next Thanos”? He was recently convicted of physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari and sentenced to a 52-week in-person domestic violence intervention program. Following this, Majors was dropped from numerous roles and projects, causing his career to take a nosedive.

Although he appears to be attempting a comeback, it’s clear that he will not be reprising his role as Kang. Recent reports suggest that the MCU may be moving away from the character altogether. A recent incident has served as a stark reminder to MCU fans that the world doesn’t revolve solely around Marvel.

Rumors suggested that the role of Kang would be recast, with Star Wars alum John Boyega frequently mentioned as a potential replacement. However, when prompted by a fan online to accept the role, Boyega rejected it, leaving MCU fans confused.

In summary, Jonathan Majors played Kang the Conqueror in several MCU projects and was set to reprise his role as the main villain in “Secret Wars.” However, following his domestic abuse scandal and conviction, Majors was fired. Marvel reportedly considered recasting the role, with several actors proposed, including John Boyega. Boyega, being the right age and a suitable fit, was prompted by a fan to reach out to Marvel about taking on the role.

As you can see, Boyega was not interested in the role and it has been confirmed that he will not be playing Kang. His response was clear and, to be honest, quite humorous. However, it is his right to decline any role, including those in the MCU, and his decision should be respected.

This situation turned out to be a harsh reality check for some MCU fans, as they struggled to understand that not everyone aspires to join the Marvel universe. It served as a reminder that the world does not revolve around them or the MCU.
