Life-and-death emergencies demand swift action, and one team is ready to rise to the challenge. Netflix Korea is set to debut its first original medical series, The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, on January 24. A newly released teaser gives viewers a taste of the action, drama, and humor the show promises to deliver.

At the center of the story is Ju Ji-hoon (Kingdom, Along with the Gods) as Dr. Baek Kang-hyuk, a brilliant surgeon who honed his skills in war zones. With a sharp sense of humor and a passion for transforming trauma care in Korea, Baek aims to create a state-of-the-art trauma center that puts saving lives above all else.

The series takes audiences through high-stakes situations, from battlefields to mountain rescues, combining intense action with moments of wit and humanity.

Joining Ju Ji-hoon are Choo Young-woo (The Tale of Lady Ok), who plays fellow team member Yang Jae-won, and Ha-young (Doona!) as the seasoned nurse Cheon Jang-mi. Their dynamic teamwork and chemistry bring an extra layer of energy to the series.

Unlike traditional hospital dramas, The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call focuses on the adrenaline-filled rush of rescue missions. With fast-paced storytelling and heartfelt moments, it offers the perfect blend of excitement and emotion for the Lunar New Year holiday. While fictionalized, the series stays grounded with a strong commitment to medical accuracy.

Set your reminders for January 24 and dive into the world of The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, streaming exclusively on Netflix.
