Michael Keaton Discusses Possibility of Returning as Vulture in Spider-Man 4

Michael Keaton had one of the highest honors in the MCU, he was Spider-Man’s first full-fledged villain appearing in 2017’s ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming.’ Keaton’s performance as Vulture was widely praised, and the character was noted for being a complex villain with relatable motivations.

Following Strange’s multiversal rift in ‘No Way Home,’ Keaton was transported to Sony’s Spider-Man Universe and reprised his role in ‘Morbius.’ The actor to this day has no idea what that cameo was about as he recently explained.

Now we know that ‘Spider-Man 4’ is currently in development, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. The movie will be of multiversal nature with some rumors hinting that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire will reprise their roles.

But what about Keaton’s Vulture? The actor recently sat down with ScreenRant and addressed those questions.

Oh, wow. That’s an interesting character, that guy. Actually, I was there for a minute in the second one… That really was fun experience, but I haven’t talked to anybody about anything. [In a joking tone] I try not to talk to anybody. I really don’t like people.

It might be difficult to bring Vulture back from SSU, but it’s not impossible. The actor recently said that even the ‘Morbius’ crew couldn’t explain his cameo in the movie so he doesn’t have some big role to play.

Considering that ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ is about to introduce a supervillain with Multiversal abilities, Knull, to their universe, it’s possible.

Plenty of speculations surround Knull and the fact that he might be the true villain of ‘Spider-Man 4’ and the means for both Venom and Carnage to make the jump to the MCU.

This doesn’t rule out Vulture, who might use the chaos to make the jump back to his native universe. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below!
