‘Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir’ Season 6 Set to Release January 25th

The sixth season of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir is set to make its highly anticipated debut in the United States on January 25. The premiere will air simultaneously on Disney Channel and Disney XD at 11 a.m. ET/PT, with international releases expected to follow during the first quarter of 2025.

The new season continues the adventures of Marinette and Adrien, two teenagers leading secret lives as the superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir. The story delves deeper into their evolving relationship, filled with dramatic twists and personal challenges, while their superhero identities face their most dangerous foe yet.

This season marks a significant milestone for the series. It’s the first to be created using Unreal Engine, a cutting-edge 3D platform that delivers stunning, lifelike visuals. Along with updated character designs, these advancements aim to bring a fresh, immersive experience to the show.

According to Maria Doolan, Head of Content Partnerships and Distribution at Miraculous Corp, the sixth season celebrates the franchise’s 10th anniversary by exploring themes of courage and self-discovery that resonate across generations.

In collaboration with Disney Branded Television, Brazil’s Globosat, Italy’s KidsMe, and France’s TF1, the upcoming seasons signal exciting developments for the series. Season seven is already underway, with plans for a 2026 release.

Meanwhile, the Miraculous brand continues to grow. Its reach extends beyond the TV series, spanning feature films, TV specials, games, and merchandise. The recent TV event, Miraculous World: London at the Edge of Time, premiered on November 28, adding another layer to the expanding universe.

Since its creation by Thomas Astruc, Nathanaël Bronn, and Jeremy Zag, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir has become a global phenomenon. With its existing five seasons available in over 150 countries, the franchise has achieved billions of views online and generated impressive sales through apps, games, and merchandise.
