‘More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers’ Manga Enters Final Part

Romance manga are, in a way, niche works. And while they have a loyal audience, they rarely make it into the mainstream. Still, despite that, many of them become quite popular and well-known, and More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers is a perfect example.
This romantic comedy manga, written by Yūki Kanamaru, has been around since 2018 and while it’s not over yet, we have to report that the manga has officially entered its final part, meaning that the end of the popular series is near.
The manga recently released its 13th volume and the endnotes for this volume reveal that starting with content to be collected in Volume 14, the manga will enter its final part. At this moment, it is unclear how many chapters there are left, but the end is definitely coming closer.
It could b that Kanamaru writes several volumes before the end, but it could also result in Volume 14 being the final one. At this point, we still don’t know, but we will inform you as soon as we have the answer.
If you’re new to the series, here is an overview of the plot:
Jiro Yakuin, a high school student who lacks romantic experience, is paired up with a completely opposite girl, Akari Watanabe, as part of a class called “Marriage Practical”. They are required to live together and act like a married couple in order to earn the right to exchange partners with their crushes. Reluctantly, they begin their performance as a married couple, but can they handle what awaits them…!?
