With just six weeks to go until Captain America: Brave New World hits theaters, new promo art has been released, offering a first look at Tim Blake Nelson’s return as The Leader. His costume is simple, yet true to the comic book style.
The new images also give fans a glimpse of Sam Wilson in action as Captain America and the Red Hulk wreaking havoc. The movie seems to center around two major Hulk villains, making it hard to believe Bruce Banner won’t be involved. This could even pave the way for the much-anticipated World War Hulk project.
Last September, Nelson shared how the reshoots changed the film’s direction. “We’re done. I’ve shot it,” he said. “I actually shot it twice—once a year ago, then we came back and redid a lot this summer.”
He also mentioned that collaborating with director Julius Onah was a unique challenge, describing him as a filmmaker who allows actors the freedom to bring bold characters to life. Here are the characters featured in the new images:

In the story, Sam Wilson faces a global crisis after meeting Thaddeus Ross, played by Harrison Ford, who is joining the Marvel universe for the first time. With a dangerous conspiracy unfolding, Sam must act quickly to find the mastermind before things spiral out of control.
The cast includes Anthony Mackie, Harrison Ford, Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Tim Blake Nelson, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, and Carl Lumbly. Directed by Julius Onah and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore, the film will be released in U.S. theaters on February 14, 2025.
