Oasis Reunion Tour to Be Turned Into a Concert Film by Steven Knight

Exciting news for Oasis fans! Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight is set to produce a brand-new concert film following the legendary band’s highly anticipated reunion tour.
The film, titled Oasis Live ‘25, will be directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace. The duo is well-known for their work on music documentaries, including Shut Up and Play the Hits (about LCD Soundsystem) and Meet Me in the Bathroom, which explored the early 2000s New York music scene.
The project will be produced by Magna Studios, a company that has worked on major films like Beastie Boys Story, Gangs of London, 20,000 Days on Earth, and Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now. It will be distributed globally by Sony Music Vision, with Krista Wegener leading the sales efforts.
The reunion of Oasis is a huge moment for fans, as the band has not performed together since 2009. Their last show ended in chaos when a backstage argument between the Gallagher brothers led to Noel Gallagher quitting the band. Since then, the brothers have been on bad terms, and any hopes of a reunion seemed impossible—until now.
The band will perform 17 concerts across the UK and Ireland, starting in Cardiff in July 2025. The demand for tickets was overwhelming, with many fans struggling to secure a spot due to “dynamic pricing” on ticket-selling websites. Some fans had to pay significantly more than expected, which led to a government investigation into the ticketing process.
Ticket reselling has been another issue surrounding the tour. The BBC recently reported that over 50,000 tickets sold on secondary platforms will be canceled. The tour’s promoters, Live Nation and SJM, announced that these canceled tickets will be made available again through Ticketmaster at their original price. This move aims to prevent fans from being overcharged by third-party resellers.
With the reunion tour already making headlines, Oasis Live ‘25 is expected to capture the energy and excitement of this historic moment. Fans who couldn’t get tickets will have a chance to experience the magic of the band’s comeback on the big screen.
