The long-awaited film Deadpool & Wolverine, featuring Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, has finally hit theaters, much to the excitement of fans. This movie marks the long-anticipated on-screen pairing of these iconic characters.

With the film’s release and its strong performance, fans are eager to learn more about it. Given that the MCU has recently embraced R-rating content, there’s particular interest in how many F-bombs the film contains, especially considering Deadpool’s notorious lack of politeness.

Given this, we can confirm that the numbers are in. As you might have expected, Deadpool & Wolverine has shattered the previous franchise record of 90 F-bombs, setting a new, considerably higher benchmark.

As expected, fans eagerly counted the F-bombs in Deadpool & Wolverine. While the previous franchise record was 90 F-bombs in a single film, Deadpool 3 has set a new record with 118 F-bombs, as confirmed on Twitter:

Ultimately, it’s up to you to decide whether the use of F-bombs in Deadpool & Wolverine was well-executed. However, these numbers aren’t particularly surprising. Given that Deadpool & Wolverine is a major event and a boundary-pushing entry for the MCU, we anticipated that the producers and writers would fully embrace the film’s bold approach—and they certainly did.

As expected, the record-breaking number of F-bombs is no shock; in fact, we would have been more surprised if the record hadn’t been set. The film is currently showing in theaters worldwide, so you can see it for yourself and verify these figures.

If you’re not aware, the film acts as a preliminary introduction of the X-Men to the MCU, with a full debut anticipated in the future. It also expands the MCU Multiverse by bringing characters previously owned by Fox into the fold following Disney’s acquisition of the company.

This isn’t the end of our coverage, so stay tuned for more news and updates in the coming days!
