‘Peacemaker’ Star John Cena Reveals Exciting New Helmet Design – James Gunn Shares Connection Between ‘Creature Commandos’ and the Show

DCU is going full steam ahead with a slate of new projects bound to be released soon. The first DCU project fans will be able to enjoy is ‘Creature Commandos’ which released in less than two months.
The official start of the DCU was recently showcased during NYCC with James Gunn promoting it on social media.
Not much is known about the plot of the show except that it’s going to focus on the monstrous team of the same name. After the United States Congress halted all Task Force X operations, government operative Amanda Waller sought to form a new team made up of monstrous beings, as the exploitation of human prisoners was now illegal.
She appointed General Rick Flag, Sr. as the team’s leader and invited him to Belle Reve to meet his new teammates. Rick Flag Sr. voiced by Frank Grillo will reprise his role in several live-action projects. Notably, ‘Peacemaker’ Season 2 and ‘Superman’ as set leaks confirmed.
James Gunn also revealed that ‘Creature Commandos’ will lead directly into season 2 of ‘Peacemaker’ further strengthening the connection between the two projects.
Speaking of ‘Peacemaker,’ the show is currently filming. New dance has already been teased as well as some additions to the cast. John Cena also recently revealed via social media a new helmet design.
It appears that this might be the humorously named “Scabies for All” Helmet, which Smith described as capable of giving everyone within a one-mile radius scabies—except for the person wearing it.
