‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Premiere Sparks Speculation of Romance Between Gigi Hadid & Hugh Jackman: “I guess they are dating”

A few days ago, ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ world premiere took place in New York. The movie premiered to excellent audience reviews and slightly worse critics reviews, but it’s still, in my humble opinion the best MCU movie released in the last few years.

Now the world premiere was significant back then since we were still wondering who the characters on the red carpet were playing and whether they would show up in the movie, however, one more rumor started that night, that Gigi Hadid and Hugh Jackman are dating.

The supermodel could be seen hanging out with the main cast, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds, being photographed constantly with them (which is how premieres generally work…) and two schools of thought have diverged from that – that she is either playing Lady Deadpool or she’s dating Hugh Jackman.

Hadid is as far as we know still dating Bradley Cooper, and Jackman has recently gone through an amicable divorce from his wife Deborra-lee Jackman, which Deadpool even pokes fun at in the movie.

There’s no confirmation that the two are dating, or even anything more than a world premiere photoshoot, and we know (now) that Hadid is not behind Lady Deadpool in the movie. The biggest clue that they are a couple was apparently the fact that Hadid was wearing yellow (to compliment Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine suit) while Lively was wearing red (to compliment her husband’s movie costume).

The most logical explanation we have is that Gigi was at the premiere due to being really good friends with actress Blake Lively. Lively and Hadid have been friends since 2016, and the color thing was most likely just Hadid understanding the assignment well.
