Recent Rumors Reveal What to Expect from Wiccan, ‘Agatha All Along’ Season 2, and Tommy’s Story in Upcoming Marvel Projects

‘Agatha All Along’ is MCU’s most recent installment. The show was a massive success due to its campy nature and introduction of plenty of interesting magical characters. Most of the characters in the show received closure to their respective arcs, except for the main duo – Billy Maximoff and Agatha Harkness.

By the end of the show, Billy is fully aware of his powers and who his mother is and the story pretty much ends with him presumably planning on how to find his twin brother – Tommy.

Agatha only seemingly received closure as the character dies in the penultimate episode of the show, only to return in the ghost form willing to help Billy on what appears to be the most important and emotional journey of his life.

Following the finale premiere, plenty of rumors started making rounds that the show will get a second season, but that Wiccan will also receive his standalone show. Now industry insider Alex Perez shed some more light on those rumors.

First, the issue of Tommy Maximoff. We know that the character hasn’t been cast yet and he is only featured in one brief scene in the show, as his story was only teased in a tragic way. Perez claims that Tommy’s story won’t be part of ‘Vision Quest.’ Instead, Tommy’s storyline is being saved for Billy and Agatha to discover later.

This makes sense, ‘Vision Quest’ is part of ‘WandaVision’ trilogy alongside ‘Agatha All Along’ but it’s Vision’s story.

Not that I’m hearing. Tommy is being saved up for Billy and Agatha to find, from what I’ve been told.

He is also unsure if Billy Kaplan/Maximoff will have a significant role in ‘Avengers: Doomsday.’ While he hasn’t heard much about Billy’s involvement, there’s a possibility he could appear if other Young Avengers are included.

I haven’t heard much about Billy, if I’m being honest. I’m not sure if he’s in it, but if the other Young Avengers pop up, who’s to say he doesn’t?

Perez also stated that the rumored ‘Wiccan’ project and ‘Agatha All Along’ season 2 are actually the same. The plan is to create a sequel where Ghost Agatha and Billy team up on an adventure to find Tommy.

I’ll be frank with you: The rumored Wiccan project and this Agatha All Along season 2 thing are one and the same. The idea is to develop a sequel project where Ghost Agatha and Billy go on an adventure to find Tommy.

This also makes sense if you think about it, Agatha’s story in the future wouldn’t make sense without Billy, and it would be redundant to create the shows focusing on both characters when it was heavily hinted in the final episode that they would work together from now on.

‘Agatha All Along’ season 2 hasn’t been confirmed yet at this point in time, but Brad Winderbaum, Marvel’s head of Television and Streaming confirmed that the team is looking forward to bringing us more WestView stories.
