Agatha All Along is thriving and is set to become a significant and intriguing part of the MCU, which is exciting to see. With five of its nine episodes released, the mystery surrounding Agatha and the Witches’ Road continues to grow, captivating viewers.

As the plot unfolds, fans are still left wondering if Scarlet Witch will make an appearance. Since Agatha All Along is a spin-off of WandaVision, there’s a natural curiosity about whether Wanda, whose son also features in the series, will return.

Although Wanda’s fate remains uncertain following the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, rumors abound. However, Agatha All Along seems to be teasing us with references to Wanda, particularly evident in Episode 4 of the series.

Episode 4 of Agatha All Along, titled “If I Can’t Reach You / Let My Song Teach You,” aired on October 2, 2024. Although some time has passed since its release, it’s worth revisiting because the episode contained a significant tease related to Wanda.

We have noted several times the possibility that Elizabeth Olsen’s character might return to the series. Although we witnessed what appeared to be her corpse and the show suggested her death early on, numerous references to the character have emerged in subsequent episodes, making this an intriguing detail.

The cast and crew have remained somewhat ambiguous, neither confirming nor denying Wanda’s potential cameo in the series. However, we do know that showrunner Jac Schaeffer mentioned the following in an earlier interview:

There was a lot of consideration. That’s a great way of articulating it: her shadow. Agatha is not a character who’s going to stand in anyone’s shadow.

So this is emphatically Agatha Harkness’ show. However, we are in the WandaVision corner of the universe, so Wanda’s legacy has threads in this narrative. But, yeah, it is about Agatha. It’s about her journey, it’s about the truth of her, and that is very much our focus with the show.

Yes, Agatha All Along will center on Agatha, but a cameo by Wanda—especially considering the show’s developments—cannot be ruled out. However, as Schaeffer pointed out, Wanda won’t be the primary focus, as Agatha won’t allow that.

With that in mind, let’s revisit Episode 4, which included a reference that we loved. This reference occurred during the 1970s-themed trial when Alice performed the well-known “The Ballad of the Witches’ Road.”

This song served as a protective measure, aligning perfectly with Alice’s role as the protection witch. While the tune itself isn’t directly related to Wanda, Alice’s record features a track titled “Red Haired Woman,” which seems like another clear nod to Wanda.

Whether this is merely a tease or a hint of things to come is uncertain, but we’re excited to see what unfolds.
