Releasing March 2025, ‘Godzilla vs. Fantastic Four’ #1 Will See Marvel Heroes Fight the King of the Monsters as Galactus’ Newest Herald

Last year, Marvel Comics teamed up with Toho International, the U.S. branch of the studio behind Godzilla, for an exciting collaboration. This partnership brought fans a popular Godzilla variant cover program and long-awaited reprints of Marvel’s original Godzilla comic series.

Godzilla will officially join the Marvel Universe in a series of new comics. It all begins with six action-packed one-shots featuring epic battles between Marvel heroes and Godzilla, each set in a different era of Marvel and Godzilla history. These stories will lead up to a big limited series later this summer.

The GODZILLA VS. one-shots combine Godzilla’s story with Marvel’s characters, creating unique matchups. Fans will see icons like the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Hulk, the X-Men, and Thor go head-to-head with the King of the Monsters!

This major pop culture event brings together some of the best creators in the industry, including Ryan North, John Romita Jr., Jason Aaron, Fabian Nicieza, Joe Kelly, Gerry Duggan, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Aaron Kuder, and more. It all kicks off with GODZILLA VS. FANTASTIC FOUR #1, written by Ryan North and drawn by legendary artist John Romita Jr.

In GODZILLA VS. FANTASTIC FOUR #1, King Ghidorah arrives on Earth as Galactus’ new herald, powered by the Power Cosmic. Can the Fantastic Four stop him from wiping out New York and the entire planet?
