We’re only a few months away from the release of ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’ The show will bring back familiar characters, including Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock (Daredevil), Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin, Elden Henson as Foggy, and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen.

Not much is known about the show’s plot so far, but we do know that Kingpin will serve as a Mayor of New Yor City, and will use his newfound power to clean the streets of the vigilante and superhero presence.

We also know that Daredevil’s villain Muse will play a significant role in setting the show’s level of darkness and violence, and is presumably one of the reasons why the show is rated TV-MA.

Now recently Vincent D’Onofrion was asked whether he would be interested in ‘Devil’s Reign’ storyline adaptation.

Daredevil’s ‘Devil’s Reign’ storyline is about him facing off against powerful enemies who try to take control of New York City. Kingpin, who becomes the mayor, uses his position to make life harder for Daredevil and other heroes. Throughout the story, Daredevil fights to protect the city while dealing with the challenges of being a superhero and a public target.

D’Onofrio had an interesting answer to that:

That’s a very interesting question. I cannot answer that because we have a new season coming out of Daredevil. I’m sure you get it. Otherwise, I would just flap my lips for the next thirty minutes and it would be so much fun, but that’s not happening.

Based on some set leaks that we’ve seen back when the show was undergoing reshoots, Kingpin will most certainly establish his own anti-vigilante task force, which is yet another piece of evidence that the MCU is already going down the Devil’s Reign path.

Our latest piece of evidence was brought to us by Alex Perez, a notable industry insider with a good track record. He claims that ‘Devil’s Reign’ adaptation has already started in the MCU with ‘Echo’ and ‘Hawkeye.’

The good news is – well good rumors – that the story will continue its adaptation following ‘Secret Wars’ and the alleged universe reboot, and it’s going to be connected to the upcoming ‘Spider-Man’ films.

Fans have been asking for street-level Spider-Man to go up against Kingpin for ages now, and this is the perfect opportunity. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below!
