Bruce Willis’ Daughter Expresses Her Interest to Play DCU’s Poison Ivy & Fans Are Loving It

We know that with the release of ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ DCEU was officially dead and buried. The new co-CEOs of DC Studios Peter Safran and James Gunn now had a gargantuan task of rebuilding an entirely new cinematic universe, dubbed “DCU.”
More than a year ago a slate of projects was announced, the first project that we can look forward to is ‘Creature Commandos’ bound to be released in December of this year, and ‘Superman’ which will be released in 2025.
All major roles as far as ‘Peacemaker,’ ‘Creature Commandos,’ and ‘Superman’ have been filled. We’re still waiting on the news on who will portray Batman and Wonder Woman in this universe, one actress decided to take matters into her own hands and pitch herself to play DCU’s Poison Ivy.
The actress in question is Bruce Willis’ daughter – Rumer Glenn Willis. Rumer is the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, and like her parents, she took up acting fairly young. Rumer posted a shoutout to her Instagram account trying to reach either DCU or Marvel Studios for superhero roles:
Rumer Willis began her acting career with a role in the 1995 film ‘Now and Then,’ which featured her alongside her mother. She has since appeared in a variety of films and television series, including ‘House Bunny’ (2008), ‘Sorority Row’ (2009), and ‘The Diary of a Teenage Girl’ (2015). Willis also had a recurring role on the TV series ‘Empire’ (2015-2016).
We don’t know whether her pitch was serious however as it’s possible that the actress only joked due to the magical pose she found herself in with the plant.
Poison Ivy did not have a live-action counterpart in the DCEU, but the animated version of the character is currently being voiced by Lake Bell in the ‘Harley Quinn’ TV series.
No matter whether Willis was joking or not, fans reacted quite well to her proposal:
