Ever since blockbuster franchises took over the modern entertainment industry, it became very hard to just casually watch movies when we’re bored or when we have two hours of spare time. With big franchises and cinematic universes all around us, it really takes to be a hardcore fan to faithfully and regularly follow those movies and other media that are spawned by those franchises.

While many fans agree that Marvel Cinematic Universe isn’t what it used to be, the biggest movie franchise ever isn’t showing any signs of tiredness. We already know when we’re going to get the next ‘Avengers’ movie, when will Deadpool and Fantastic Four join the franchise, and when you add all Disney+ shows to the mix; there’s certainly a lot to anticipate from Marvel Studios in coming years.

Marvel Studios won’t have a presentation in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con this year!

Apart from anticipating new projects to be released, superhero fans are always expecting fan conventions and presentations where the studios usually announce new projects and updates about upcoming projects. We still remember San Diego Comic-Con 2019 when Kevin Feige announced the beginning of Phase 4.

Last July, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige officially announced Phase 5 and the first three projects of Phase 6. It is always great to find out what we can expect from our favorite franchises in the future, but that won’t be the case this year. As The Wrap exclusively learned, Marvel Studios won’t have a presentation of new projects at this year’s SDCC. However, Marvel will still have a presence on the convention floor.

Marvel Studios Reshuffles Release Schedule; ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ Pushed Back to 2027!

At last year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Feige revealed all MCU movies and TV shows that are set in the franchise’s Phase 5, and as a special surprise, he announced two new ‘Avengers’ movies, which will be set in Phase 6. Feige said there are many projects that are still yet to be announced for Phase 6, but we know that it will kick off with ‘Fantastic Four’ and conclude with ‘Avengers: Secret Wars.’

However, since then, Marvel Studios has changed its schedule, and we’ll wait for these upcoming projects longer than expected, but knowing MCU, especially now, there will never be any lack of content in the future. At the time of this writing, we’re counting down the last few hours before the premiere of ‘Secret Invasion’ on Disney+, and the next movie, ‘The Marvels,’ is set to hit theaters in November.
